Hora is designed to work entirely on your iPhone. Chimes, reminders, recordings, statistics and settings are stored locally on your device by default. We do not operate accounts, we do not run analytics that profile you, and we do not show advertising. Nothing about your habits is ever uploaded to us.
Gongs and reminders are delivered through iOS system scheduling (including notifications and local audio playback on the lock screen). iOS manages when and how these are presented; you can control and disable them anytime in Settings > Hora or in iOS Notification Settings.
If you record a voice reminder or choose voice prompts, the audio is stored on your device. Nothing is sent to a server for recognition, storage or training.
If you enable the in-app backup & restore feature, your data may be stored in your personal iCloud account as part of that backup. It is then protected by Apple's security and available only to you. Deleting the app data or the backup removes it from your iCloud storage.
Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive or store your payment details. Subscriptions renew automatically and can be cancelled at any time under Settings > Apple ID > Subscriptions.
